Sandali Rockwell, Aneirin’s sister, has volunteered with Meththa since age 12, driven by a desire to support young patients. Alongside her brother, she helped raise awareness and gather school supplies, and since early 2023, she has been teaching English via Zoom to a Meththa patient, Shithila.

In high school, Sandali served as secretary and team leader of the robotics team, qualified nationally for the Alabama Technology Student Association, and held leadership roles in the Beta Club, National Honor Society, Arts Honor Society, and Speech and Debate Society. She graduated as her class’s STAR student and is now attending Georgia Tech. A Bharatanatyam dancer and avid painter, Sandali hopes to involve more students in teaching Meththa children new skills.

Sammy Goins is currently an upcoming freshman at Hampden-Sydney college, and he is currently volunteering to teach chess to Shithila, a patient of Meththa . He has been doing this since March 2025, and has seen substantial progress. He chose to volunteer because he enjoys chess and saw an opportunity to use his talents to aid others. Sammy is currently 15 years old, and was both president of his high-school’s chess club and his county’s STAR student.

Seya Bulathsinhala is currently teaching English to a young Meththa patient. (More details will be shared soon.)
